Mmmm, if you have an older house, there's nothing better than stripping back those old, tired beams up there, and letting them be part of the style and glamour of your home. And it really just sits so nicely with my bestest kind of style at the moment- that modern country home look that i just can't get enough of!

I also love that these beams have been painted white, adding a wholesome and muted-rustic-glam to the room, but keeping it understated.
